We don’t cold call our clients because, frankly, we have never needed to. Too many recruitment
professionals maintain policies of bombardment when it comes to their clients, but when it comes to
the Little Black Book, it’s quality not quantity.
As well as the clients that approach us directly, we reach out to exceptional businesses of our own accord. Our search effort is proactive, multi-faceted but above all, sensitive and well judged. Our experience and intuition puts us in an ideal position to recognise when a strong candidate would be a great fit for your business. We also know when it’s inappropriate to push a particular candidate and we make sure to strike the perfect balance between contacting you too much, and too little.
Our relationships with clients are built on foundations of transparency, honesty and support. We endeavour to earn clients’ trust and feel that an ability to count on one another is of paramount importance to long-standing business relationships. Not only do some of our existing clients recruit exclusively from the Little Black Book, but we still work with a large number of companies that have been with us since day one.
We only put forward candidates that, for one, we think match the skills and appetites that clients require, but that also have agreed themselves that they are an appropriate fit for the role presented to them. If we ever feel that our expertise will not extend to your particular field or position, we will tell you. In the same way, if the industry climate is such that filling your position will be a particularly difficult or lengthy process, we will let you know of that too.
You can start talking to us at any time. We’re always eager to hear from new companies looking for a recruitment partnership that goes above and beyond the call of duty.
With the Little Black Book, you will always be able to speak to someone you know. As such, we will always be up to speed and ready to cut to the chase, with a frank but informed update of how our search efforts are progressing.
Our responses are prompt and informative, giving you the lay of the land currently, as well as the strategies we can put into place to find even more candidates.
We only ever send out candidates that have given us their express permission to do so. Every person we recommend comes with accompanying justification for why we think they’d be an appropriate fit for your business.
Our experience and intuition continues to serve us well, and we are primed to not only thoroughly research the role itself, but the culture and structure that surrounds it too.
We take the time to get to know you and your business to the same level that we get to know the candidates we recommend.
We find The Little Black Book great! They know the industry and work hard at knowing the people in it. They are professional, honest and efficient; they say when they can help you and don’t bullshit when they can’t. In my opinion, TLBBA sets a lead that I wish other recruiters would follow.
The Little Black Book listen to our requirements and tailor candidates really well to our needs. We’ve been working together for a good while and rate them as a safe pair of hands when it comes to sourcing last minute design & development needs. A competitive and friendly service for any agency.
“We have engaged The Little Black Book Agency for a number of roles, most recently for a Client Services Manager.
