Content Manager – South Manchester – £30-33k
Well-respected housing charity, based in South Manchester, is looking for a Content Manager to join their marketing and communications team.
Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will lead the development and production of content across multiple brands, working with subject experts and the in-house marketing team to bring creativity and innovation to the company’s content output. You will create content for internal and external audiences across a wide range of media, writing and shaping content in all formats and providing editorial judgement/feedback to content originators. You will take ownership of the content on the company’s websites (working alongside the Digital Marketing Manager), including the assessment of the value of web content. Finally, you will manage the content production process, ensuring that the pipeline is moving along efficiently.
To be considered for this role, you must have a track record of creating engaging content for diverse brands and audiences. You will have excellent writing and editing skills (with strong editorial judgement), and be used to working across a range of media and platforms. You will understand digital content and will have good knowledge of analytics/led content performance measurement. You will follow public affairs and have a good understanding of socio-economic issues. You will, ideally, have worked agency-side and have a varied background in customer-facing content creation and management.
