Digital Account Manager (Social Media / PR) – Manchester – £25-35k
Top PR agency is looking for a motivated, creative and enterprising digital and social media consultant to join their rapidly expanding digital team – working primarily with consumer clients.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to provide account/client management, digital consultancy, social media activity and campaign delivery to a variety of brands and organisations. You will support the Account Directors (and the wider team) on driving digital growth, while being the main lynchpin on key digital and social accounts. You will manage and provide community management, influencer mapping, social media content writing, digital insight and digital account management. You will work with the PR teams to create strategic and creative campaigns that work across both off-line and digital channels, while creating proposals and costings for the digital activity.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate success in digital/ social media communications (either for clients or in-house), particularly in terms of community management and audience engagement (whether influencers, end customers, or both). You will have excellent copywriting abilities and some experience of owned, earned and paid online media. You will have a good knowledge of digital research, analysis and measurement techniques, and a sound understanding of web technology to support campaign execution. Any web development or video production experience would be an advantage (although not a pre-requisite).
