Email Marketing Executive – Manchester – £25k
Well-loved charity, based in Salford Quays, is looking for an experienced Email Marketing Executive to join their digital team, supporting the marketing effort for various teams across the business.
Reporting into the Head of Digital, you will be responsible for driving and delivering email marketing activity: holding regular content, creative and data meetings with relevant team members, discussing and scoping out future activity. You will edit content supplied by marketing teams, to ensure suitability for the audience, applying digital best practice principles to maximise impact. You will design, build and send regular email campaigns, managing assets (images, video etc) and using dynamic content to personalise messages. You will proof and test all email campaigns thoroughly, ensuring optimal display across different email clients and devices. You will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the company’s email service provider. Finally, you will provide ongoing analysis of email marketing activity, monitoring performance of each send, gathering information from sources including Google analytics and compiling reports for the digital and wider marketing teams.
To be considered for this role, you will have at least two years’ experience within a digital marketing role, with responsibility for email marketing. You will have HTML/CSS skills, able to edit and create emails from template. You will understand the importance of databases and have strong analytical skills, with high attention to detail. You will have experience of using Dreamweaver and Photoshop, and be used to working with email marketing platforms and testing applications.
