Head of Marketing – Harrogate – £55-75k
Well-respected professional services company, based in Harrogate, is looking for a Head of Marketing to oversee all marketing strategy and the in-house marketing team.
The company has earned an enviable reputation in the decades since it was established, with the national, multi-site teams renowned for their excellence. Reporting into the CEO, it will be your responsibility to ensure that the company’s outward facing profile is, at all times, appropriate, effective and relevant, so as to attract and convert the maximum number of quality new enquiries from the company’s targeted market segment. You will be responsible for developing the company’s marketing strategy, in order to consistently gain market share and to attract the best staff to the company. You will ensure that the company’s brand identity is clear and succinct, and that both online and offline marketing (at national and local level) is aligned. You and your team will take ownership of the company’s intranet, social media platforms and blog, while overseeing digital marketing campaigns (some of which are outsourced). You have a senior Digital Marketing Manager on the team, who will oversee the execution, but your understanding of digital marketing must be solid, giving you the ability to challenge and work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager. You will also be in charge of all external communications and PR for the company, so hands-on experience of this is a must.
You will be a senior figure, with extensive experience of both on- and off-line marketing. You will have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing a marketing strategy, coordinating and aligning both online and offline content, ideally within a multi-site, professional services environment. You will have a strong, creative mind, be highly organised and have the ability to manage teams, as well as internal stakeholders with differing needs.
