UI/UX Designer – Manchester – £23-28k

Highly respected digital agency, based in central Manchester, is looking for a UI/UX Designer to join their team, working with large ecommerce clients.

You will use your skills to help define usability issues on existing websites and to create improvements within clients’ brand guidelines. You will work closely with the strategy and development teams to make meaningful impact on the development of the clients’ businesses, creating web prototypes in Invision or Axure, as well as creating great UIs for desktop, mobile and tablet. You will also work with the client services team to design client presentations and compelling marketing materials to communicate the agency’s services.

To be considered for this role, you will be an experienced UI/UX Designer, with an excellent eye for layout and colour. You will be proficient in Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator, and any HTML or CSS skills would be distinctly advantageous. You will have a good knowledge of the latest design trends and be passionate about detail and consistency. Agency-side experience is preferred, although not a prerequisite.

Working across a range of clients, predominantly large, ecommerce companies with 1,000+ transactions per day, you will be responsible for managing the client relationship and for project managing the agency’s work – ongoing strategy, planning team resources and communicating with client stakeholders. You will be use web analytics to do an initial configuration audit of clients’ accounts and continuous analysis and reporting thereafter. You will triangulate research, combining multiple research sources to create insights that influence the ongoing optimisation of clients’ websites. You will use 1-to-1 user research, participant recruitment, scenario planning, session observation and interview moderating. You will carry out A/B testing, with hypothesis generation and prioritisation. You will brief the design and development teams, determine goal tracking and test monitoring (through to the final data analysis and presentation of results).

You will be experienced in CRO, either consultancy- or client-side, with a strong understanding of ecommerce and experience in testing. You will have at least two years’ experience of CRO and some impressive result to report at interview.

Marketing Manager (Hospitality) – Liverpool – £24-30k DOE

Well-respected and well-loved restaurant group, with their head office in Liverpool, is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join their team (with travel to other UK cities).

Reporting into the Operations Director, you will work autonomously, owning the marketing function for one of the group’s restaurant brands. There is a great deal of development opportunity for the successful candidate, as there are various other brands within the group, which could come under your remit, as you progress within the organisation.

You will be involved in:

* Preparing and delivering campaign plans for each of the restaurants.
* Making effective use of the existing customer database, promote repeat business and schemes to engender customer loyalty.
* Develop initiatives to ensure data capture of new customers.
* Develop relations and work effectively with key partners including internal staff, local media, hotels, wine suppliers etc.
* Effectively manage marketing spend in line with approved budget.
* Develop new marketing strategies to ensure sales targets are met.
* Manage all media and marketing channels including social media to promote the restaurants to local consumers and businesses
* Develop launch strategies as the business expands into new restaurant locations and develop new concepts.
* Be creative in working with web and e-mail designers and have a sound understanding of e-marketing and the use of social media in order to increase customer engagement.
* To be aware of trends and opportunities that provide a change to market the restaurants effectively.
* Marketing of promotional gift vouchers and incentives.
* Negotiate new business terms with partners and manage day to day external stakeholder relationships.
* Participate in monthly Board Meetings and be able to communicate effectively with the owners of the business.
* Produce and review marketing plans/strategies for each site.
* Frequently visit each site to understand the operations and customers.

To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced marketing manager within the hospitality industry (only candidates with hospitality industry experience will be considered). You will have worked across email marketing, promotional campaigns, social media and print campaigns, and will have your own external contacts for designers/agencies etc. Ideally, you will be able to use photoshop for smaller design pieces (social media imagery, for example).

You will be experienced in marketing strategy, writing marketing plans/calendars and delivering sales growth. You will be an excellent communicator, with strong written and verbal skills, a confident self-starter, able to function autonomously, with a hands-on approach. You will also be analytical and commercially-aware, able to understand margins and sales data.

Large, successful company, based in Harrogate, is launching a new mobile app product (aimed predominantly at consumers) and is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their marketing team.

You will join take responsibility for the social media strategy, aligned with the company’s marketing message, and the execution of all social content (both earned and paid). You will work across all consumer-facing social media channels, as well as LinkedIn, to raise awareness of the product within the business sector. You will spend a large amount of time on blogger outreach, ensuring that trusted bloggers are talking and demonstrating the app to their audiences, this could also include celebrity endorsement and the subsequent social campaign that will merit.

This is an autonomous role and you will have complete ownership of the social marketing function for this mobile app, so it is imperative you are an experienced social media manager, able to own the strategy and execute clever campaigns, alone. You will have an excellent understanding of content and how to create the most engaging content possible for the target customer base. You will have some design skills (for content and imagery) and excellent writing skills, and any interest in health and wellbeing would be a distinct advantage.

Graphic Designer – York – £23-26k + paid overtime

Highly respected design agency, based slightly East of York, is looking for a strong and experienced Graphic Designer to join their creative team.

Working predominantly on large-format media, you will work for some of the biggest names in leisure, tourism and retail. You will take briefs and work up design concepts to meet those brief. You will produce accurate, print-ready artwork, seeing the job through from brief to completion. You will work closely to brand styles and guidelines, managing your own workload. The role is split 65:35 creative design : artwork.

To be considered for this role, you will have a degree in Graphic Design and a minimum of 4 years’ commercial experience. You will have full working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, with excellent retouching skills. You will have excellent typography skills and a portfolio that demonstrates an excellent grasp of current design trends.
