Graphic Designer – Knaresborough – £22-24k

Female-focussed fashion brand, based in Knaresborough, is looking for a talented and experienced graphic designer, to join their marketing and brand team, working on designs for print, retail, traditional and digital marketing collateral.

Reporting into the Creative Director, you will design across a range of projects – the main catalogues, customer communications, direct marketing, advertising, retail design, social media, email marketing and websites. You will work with the Creative Director to deliver mood boards (helping source images to support shoot proposals), understanding the balance between brand and commercial objectives. You will take briefs and feedback across a range of projects, developing distinct ideas and executions, without the need for direction. You will work closely with other departments (artwork, photography, retail etc) to interpret seasonal concepts across the various touchpoints, researching into the relevant areas in order to bring ideas to the table.

To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced designer (both in-house and agency-side will be considered), with some education in a design-related subject. You will be Mac literate, proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Microsoft Office. HTML and CSS experience would also be useful, given the digital element of the role. You will have a good understanding of artwork and print, enabling you to work well with those teams internally. Any experience in the fashion or mail order industry would be a distinct advantage, and an interest in female fashion is a must.

Business Development Manager – Chester – £30-35k + commission

Highly-respected marketing agency, based in Chester, is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their sales team, concentrating on winning new accounts.

Reporting into the Sales Manager, alongside another BDM and a BDE, you will be responsible for following up on leads presented to the agency and helping potential clients to understand the value a partnership would bring to their business. Clients rely on the agency to provide strategic insight and advice – and that starts with the very first contact they have. You will make initial calls, write proposals, lead on pitches and negotiate partnerships. You will be targeted on a monthly quota of closed business and will be expected to log all communication within the company CRM system. The agency deals predominantly with digital marketing – web design and build, social media, search marketing and inbound marketing services. You will be expected to understand these services and be able to sell them, consultatively, to marketing managers and directors within prospective clients.

To be considered for this role, you will be comfortable with sales targets and have some sort of marketing background (ideally within digital marketing). You will have strong client-facing skills and be able to self-motivate. You will have at least three years’ sales experience (ideally within a digital, marketing, or technology environment) and have demonstrated a history of achievement. Finally, any experience of HubSpot would be advantageous, especially their Inbound Certification.

Business Development Executive – Chester – £25k (£35k OTE)

Highly-respected digital agency, based just outside of Chester, is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their sales team, helping to increase client numbers for their inbound marketing services.

Reporting into the Digital Strategist, you will research prospective customers, create outreach strategies and identify sales opportunities. You will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, using your business acumen to identify how the agency could help potential new customers develop and grow.

You will conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media. You will schedule marketing assessments and discovery meetings for the Digital Strategist to further assess a prospect’s business and potential for partnership. You will conduct qualification assessments with specific prospects (dealing, for example, with all inbound leads) and help these clients realise the potential of digital marketing – specifically inbound marketing activity.

To be considered for this role, you will have experience of selling within a B2B environment previously. You will have a track record of high achievement, used to working in a targets environment and hitting/exceeding these targets. You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have an interest in technology and the digital world, with an aptitude to master the company’s sales tools and to understand the service that the company offers to its clients. Finally, you will have the ability to deal with objections and rejection, while thriving on and being driven by success.

Digital Marketing Account Director – West Cheshire – £35-40k + Bonus

Well-respected digital agency, covering both design and build, and digital marketing services, is looking for an Account Director to join their client services team. Both agency- and client-side candidates will be considered.

Reporting into the Head of Client Services, you will be responsible for a team of 3 Account Managers, working across a variety of both B2C and B2B accounts. You will be tasked with expanding and retaining clients, growing their value to the agency and delivering sound strategic advice across a number of digital touchpoints. You will truly understand the digital communications landscape – in particular, how inbound marketing and development can achieve your clients’ goals. You will work closely across the agency and know where a client is in their journey at any given time, being the go-to person for all client-related decisions.

Ideally you will have some agency-side experience previously, although client-side candidates have done particularly well in this role, as you understand what the client wants and are often really hot on strategic thinking. You will have an excellent understanding of inbound marketing methodologies and a good understanding of SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing. Any experience with Hubspot would be distinctly advantageous. Equally, you will have experience of overseeing web design and build projects (although bear in mind that this is, in no way, a project management role – this is handled by another department). You will be able to work in a fast-paced and targeted environment, as you will be responsible for an agreed growth target for your client portfolio (this is rewarded and is what the bonus is based on – £10-15k/year on average).
