Marketing Director – Lancashire – £40-£45k

Well-respected and prestigious educational institution is looking for an outstanding, senior-level marketing candidate to join its high-performing external relations team.

This is a newly created role, the purpose of which is to ensure best practice in marketing and to achieve competitive advantage for the institution, in accordance with objectives set by the board. In addition to having general charge of Marketing, the Marketing Director will work closely with the Director of Admissions and Director of Development to ensure synthesis across the External Relations function.

You will be responsible for promoting the institution, such that sufficient enquiries are delivered to meet its recruitment targets; the delivery of internal marketing programmes to aid retention at key transition stages is also a key area of responsibility. The post holder will be responsible for brand management and communications across a variety of media, as well as for planning, implementing, monitoring and reviewing marketing activity in support of aims and objectives.

The ideal candidate will blend outstanding marketing and communication skills with strong interpersonal, creative and analytical skills. You will ideally hold Chartered Institute of Marketing qualifications, or a Marketing degree or equivalent. You will be a superb communicator, highly skilled in presentations, with excellent attention to detail and solid marketing planning and brand management experience. You will have a strong customer service mentality and be able to demonstrate a track record of success in both strategic and tactical marketing. Experience of working in education would be an advantage and team management experience is essential.

Well-respected creative communications and design agency, based in central Liverpool, is looking for a Creative / Design Director to lead on all creative work and manage the design team.

Reporting into the Managing Director, you will lead the creative team (of designers and artworkers) across all projects within the agency, while remaining hands-on and using your own design skills to produce work. You will manage the studio and its effective running, ensuring all creative work is produced efficiently and to the correct standard. You will be client facing, able to interpret complex client briefs and present creative ideas to clients. You will work with the creative team to lead conceptual thinking for all briefs, including print, DM, digital, social media and events.

To be considered for this role, you must be a senior-level creative, with 10 years’ experience and hands-on design skills. Digital Manager – South Manchester – up to £35k

Well respected integrated communications agency, is looking for a Digital Manager to join their team to manage web development projects and IT/server management.

As the Digital Manager, you will work closely with creative and content teams on a range of projects and clients, where you’ll lead the team of developers. You will be a technically-minded person, with at least 5 years’ experience (ideally in an agency environment) with the following skills:

- Experience of managing websites through the development, client approval, staging and go live process
– Detailed knowledge of WordPress CMS
– Basic understanding of code
– General web maintenance and updates
– Logical troubleshooting and hot fixes
– Liaison with hosting companies and dealing with server management
– Provision of technical support to clients
– Google Analytics set-up and reports
– Ability to quote, scope out and manage new web projects
– Experience of managing developers – both internal and external
– Ability to liaise with clients and advise on all things digital

Any experience in PPC, technical social media and web developing (hands-on coding) would be a distinct advantage.

You will use Google analytics and marketing data to analyse clients’ businesses and websites, to identify issues and create solutions aligning to the client’s business strategy, thus improving their customer experience and convert sales. You will interpret data and analyse results using statistical techniques. You will evaluate information from multiple sources and understand user behavior, to identify problems and provide solutions. You will produce models of test scenarios to support change, while analyzing actual performance against test scenarios to determine future outcomes.

To be considered for this role, you must have technical knowledge of data models, data mining and segmentation techniques. You will have excellent knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tags, with any other digital analytics and tag management platforms an advantage. You will have experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research, preferably within a business analysis / web marketing context. Knowledge of HTML/CSS/Javascript would be distinctly advantageous and you should be able to use MS Excel and have knowledge of SQL.

Reporting into the Sales Director, you will be responsible for one of the company’s largest products, aimed at the beauty and cosmetics industry. You will sell marketing solutions, bespoke ad campaigns and event sponsorship to key accounts within the beauty market. You will grow and manage key customer relationships, while researching and recognizing trends, thus becoming an expert in the industry. You will raise and maintain the brand profile in order to be the advertising media of choise, while delivering monthly, quarterly and annual target revenues.
