Customer Experience (Marketing & Comms) Director – Manchester – up to £70k + £5k car

Charitable organisation, based in South Manchester is looking for a Customer Experience Director to head up their Marketing and Comms team (9 people in total), with a solid focus on user experience, PR strategy and content.

You will work across a complex stakeholder group and have impact and influence at senior director level. You will oversee the Marketing and Communications team (consisting of marketing and comms managers, digital marketing professionals and content managers), while working closely with key stakeholders, particularly in customer operations, to ensure that corporate objectives are realised. You will be responsible for the development of long- and medium-term marketing and customer experience plans, defining the requirements and impact of initiatives. You will review all customer ‘touch points’ and work with all areas of the business to optimise the ‘tone of voice’ in all areas of content and customer experience.

To be considered for this role, you should have experience of the following:

* Developing a customer experience strategy that responds to the real needs of real customers.
* Introducing organisation-wide systems to capture, analyse and act on customer insight data.
* Conducting in-depth profiling and segmentation of customer bases.
* Implementing structured research programmes to inform Policy positions.
* Overseeing User Experience design, particularly in the architecture of end to end customer journeys.
* Developing high impact content and communication collaterals for a diverse audience of customers, stakeholders and partners.
* Supporting organisational growth through the design of creative, targeted marketing campaigns across a range of channels.

* Managing productive relationships with press and the media.

Digital Project Manager/Executive – Manchester – £25-27k pro rata (FTC 6-9 months)

Much-loved charitable organisation, based in Salford Quays, is looking for a digital project manager to join their marketing team, overseeing web development projects alongside external design/digital agencies. This is a fixed-term contract for 6-9 months, with the possibility of going permanent thereafter.

You will be responsible for delivering web-based projects, defining user stories, test scripts and time scales, alongside the external web development agency. You will work closely with the product and marketing teams to support and manage standalone projects (such as microsites and apps). You will report into the Digital Manager and work with them to scope development plans, using customer insight and trends. You will also work on digital campaign activity, working with marketing managers to shape and execute them. You will monitor web statistics using google Analytics and other monitoring tools, making recommendations and improvements as appropriate.

To be considered for this role, you MUST meet the following criteria:

* Educated to degree level
* 2 years’ experience of working within a digital environment
* Project management experience with web projects
* An understanding of search marketing (SEO)
* Experience of Google Analytics

Ideally, you will also have the following skills/experience:

Digital Marketing / Comms Manager – Manchester – £30-35k (12-month FTC)

Charitable organisation, based in South Manchester, is looking for a Digital Marketing and Communications Manager to join their marketing team on a fixed-term contract for 12 months, with a view to going permanent thereafter.

Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for delivering the digital comms strategy. You will be an experienced digital marketing manager, with a proven track record of delivering significant digital projects, from CRM, to websites, e-marketing and social media – but, most of all, achieving ROI through digital campaigns. Joining at an exciting time, you will help project manage the development of a new website infrastructure for the company (supporting multiple websites). You will set up a range of evaluation tools across digital platforms and support the ongoing development of the intranet, while implementing an e-marketing platform to support the business.

You must be an expert in digital marketing and social media, with the knowledge and insight to drive engagement and sales. You should have a sound understanding of website design and UX, able to input into these areas, working collaboratively with IT teams and the wider marketing team. Having successfully delivered numerous high-quality websites and digital campaigns, you will be used to working in a fast paced, challenging environment and have either worked agency side managing multiple clients or within an account manager type operating model. You must be commercially astute and always focusing on delivering an amazing customer experience.

You will have at least 5 years’ experience of working within a dedicated digital role, within a fast-paced commercial environment. You will understand digital systems (including CMS, CRM, SEO, PPD, intranets, analytics) and be experienced in delivering digital marketing and engagement campaigns.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for creating, improving and maintaining content across various channels, to achieve business goals. You will develop content strategy, aligned with short- and long-term marketing targets, while collaborating with different business areas to plan and develop site content, style and layout. You will create and publish engaging content, while editing, proofreading and improving on other writers’ posts. You will liaise with the whole marketing team to ensure brand consistency, while also ensuring compliance with best practice and law. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that the client base is provided with the service that it expects, refining day-to-day operations, with a high level of efficiency and helping maintain growth. There is a lot of development potential within this role, as you will have exposure and contribution to strategy, operational planning, implementation and service delivery.
