Social Media Account Director – Macclesfield – £40 – £42K

My client is an integrated agency who is on the hunt for a dynamic Social Media Account Director to join its team and work on a mix of B2C and B2B clients… they are undertaking lots of new business at the moment and areas of interest include retail, fashion, automotive and tourism and leisure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong agency background, along with content creation and community management experience for a large retailer or FMCG brand (either in agency or in house) and have a proven track record of engaging consumers across multiple-channels and social media platforms. Your natural passion will lie in developing and managing creative social media content for brands and your strong leadership skills will help to develop talent within the team, delivering quality work that sets industry benchmarks and leads to award-winning campaigns.

You will be responsible for delivering large-scale campaigns driving high levels of user engagement, creating original content and demonstrating real-time thinking that leads to trending and widespread buzz. The role entails strategic development, creative execution and campaign implementation. Experience of multiple social media channels is a must, as is experience an in-depth knowledge of running paid social campaigns.

SEO Executive – Manchester – £18-24k

Highly regarded digital marketing agency, based in central Manchester, is looking for an SEO Executive, with at least 1 year’s SEO link building experience, to join their team.

You will be responsible for the creation and execution of inbound link attraction campaigns and strategies, in line with Google best practices and in conjunction with other SEO activities, such as blog posting and on-page optimisation. Working alongside the existing team of talented SEO specialists, you will be required to come up with original and engaging link strategies and a variety of content for a range of clients in different sectors.

Responsibilities:

* Developing and executing link attraction campaigns on behalf of a range of clients
* Research, define and contact potential new link opportunities on a ‘quality over quantity’ basis
* Creating a variety of engaging and unique content to drive and deliver new backlinks for client websites
* Feeding link opportunities back to the rest of the team where appropriate
* Conducting blogger outreach for relevant link opportunities and developing relationships for recurring publishing
* Conducting competitor analysis, including competitor link profiling
* Regularly updating client blogs
* Keyword research
* On-page optimisation including page titles and meta descriptions

Required Qualifications and Skills:

* An understanding of the SEO process, particularly the value of links
* A strong understanding of definable qualities of a ‘good’ quality link vs a poor link, which you will be able to demonstrate and describe using relevant metrics
* An understanding of link types and link diversity, including the difference between follow/no follow links, balance of text/image/other links, anchor text variations etc, and the value associated with each type
* Understanding of the KPIs associated with SEO
* Experience in delivering high quality links consistently for a range of clients in varying sectors
* Understanding of the evolution of links within the SEO process, including what constitutes quality link building activity in 2018 and the background history of backlinks
* A creative approach to work and ability to ‘think outside the box’
* Competency in the production of written and visual content, including articles, infographics and imagery
* Ability to quantify the quality of websites for prospective links
* Experience in reaching out for guest posting and guest author opportunities

Artisan and craft brewery, based in Leeds, is looking for a Communications Manager to oversee PR and social media strategy for the brand. An interest in craft beer is a must.

Working alongside the Marketing Director and a Marketing Executive, you will oversee all PR and comms, including social media, blogs and outreach. You will work with senior management to put together a long-term comms strategy to enhance the brand and deliver rapid growth forecasts to match those already achieved for years to come. You will be proficient across all social media platforms and have experience of email marketing/CRM campaigns (ideally MailChimp). You will be able to communicate at all levels and with all audiences – from Press and investors to consumers and fans. You will be equally happy working with both external comms and internal/stakeholder comms.

To be considered for this role, you must be an experienced PR/comms professional, with at least two years’ experience – whether that is agency-side or in-house doesn’t matter too much, but you must have consumer communications experience (candidates from B2B backgrounds will not be considered). You will have demonstrable social media strategy and management experience and really champion the channel as the valuable communications tool it is. You will work closely with the Head of Marketing across all off-line touchpoints, which will include signage, packaging, point-of-sale (POS), print and photography.
