Front-End Developer – Central Manchester – £25-30k

Ecommerce conversion agency, based in luxury Manchester City Centre offices, is looking for a front-end developer (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to join their team.

Working alongside a designer and senior developer, you will be tasked with creating high quality and efficient code, within a number of online A/B and multivariate testing tools. You will convert static wireframes into high fidelity interactive prototypes for use in the in-house User Testing Lab. You will configure simple iterative and complex strategic tests within testing tools, carrying out thorough QA before launch You will work collaboratively with colleagues to support them with technical advice, and to build high quality experiences.

You will have a solid understanding of JavaScript and JS frameworks, such as JQuery, to manipulate web pages. You will have excellent HTML and CSS skills, as well as a sound understanding of Google Analytics and Google Tags. You will have experience of building responsive sites/landing pages and cross browser testing. You will have a degree in computer science (or a related discipline) and have an understanding of Conversion Rate Optimisation, and why it is so important.

Retail Marketing Executive – North Manchester – up to £25k

Well-respected fashion retail company, with stores nationwide, is looking for a Marketing Executive with retail marketing experience to join their team.

Reporting into the Retail Marketing Manager, you will help manage delivery of retail marketing campaigns across UK-wide stores, with some travel across the UK required (which will help you gain customer insight and improve existing processes). You will work closely with the Campaign and Brand team to launch campaigns and communications to build awareness and drive footfall to stores. You will work predominantly on POS campaigns, ensuring fit for purpose and reporting on in-store activity and promotions, ensuring they are capturing the right ethos and are brand-approved.

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 2 years’ marketing experience, with a degree in marketing or fashion communication. Highly respected agency integrated comms agency is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team, working across social media, paid social, SEO, PPC, display and email marketing campaigns.

Reporting into the Head of Digital, you will have an active involvement in the planning, execution and optimisation of all digital campaigns, ensuring objectives are achieved and exceeded. You will work across social media, paid social, organic search, paid search and email marketing. You will be an experienced digital marketing manager, able to identify and understand target (B2B) audiences and segments, to ensure targeting and messaging produce maximum engagement and conversion. You will analyse digital performance and create reports using Google Analytics, Excel and Powerpoint. You will, on occasion, be asked to present to clients and help with business development pitches, where required, as well as supporting the development of more junior members of the digital team.

Fashion retail brand, with their head office in the UK, is looking for a Marketing Lead to oversee brand awareness and footfall across mainland Europe (10 territories).

 

Reporting into the Head of Marketing and leading a team of managers and execs, you will be responsible for positively impacting footfall and brand awareness across all store formats, through flawlessly executed, consumer-relevant marketing campaigns, promotions and in-store communications (POS). You will work very closely with senior management at head office, while overseeing the development of local retail marketing calendars, aligned with merchandising and brand marketing for mainland Europe. You will have ongoing budget management for all territories and will determine the strategy for brand awareness across Europe, using a mix of media, PR, sponsorship and experiential marketing.

 

To be considered for this role, you must have solid business acumen and an in-depth knowledge of retail marketing KPIs. Offline retail marketing experience across multiple territories is absolutely essential (candidates without this experience will not be considered). You will be highly numerate, with the ability to analyse and understand data. You will have proven management experience and excellent English language skills (both written and spoken). Any experience of media buying, working with third part agencies and event management would be distinctly advantageous.

Head of Marketing – Manchester – c£60k

Well-respected and highly successful female fashion brand, based in South Manchester, is looking for a Head of Marketing to oversee group brand management, creative direction and strategy across traditional, retail and digital channels.

Reporting into the CEO and overseeing the work of a 7-strong marketing team, you will work very closely with the trading, buying, merchandising/VM and retail teams. You will be responsible for brand development and homogeny across all touchpoints. You will oversee visual identity, brand experience, copy/tone of voice, packaging, PR, photoshoots, retail marketing/POS, social media and all digital marketing. It is a wide and varied role, where no two days are the same. One day, you could be working on the creative for a big social media campaign, the next working with a large department store, ensuring all seasonal POS is mirrored across concessions. You will keep abreast of trends, competitor analysis and how the high street is changing, to ensure that the brand remains relevant and competitive at all times, while managing the marketing budget for the whole of the group.

To be considered for this role, you must have some commercial experience of fashion or beauty. You will have worked as a marketing or brand manager, operating at a senior level with budget responsibility. You must have retail marketing understanding and understand the pace and the touchpoints involved in the successful marketing of a brand within the retail space. You will have overseen PR and messaging (working with external agencies) and have a very strong grasp of digital marketing (including search marketing and social media). Most of all, you will be a creative guardian, able to direct, protect and develop the brand across all customer-facing touchpoints (actively art directing and copywriting for various pieces). Finally, you will have a passion for the fashion industry and the trends by which it is inspired.

PR and communications agency, based in central Manchester is looking for a Traffic / Project Manager, with relevant agency-side experience to join their team in a newly-formed role.

You will have at least 5 years’ experience within a similar role within a creative agency environment. You will be exceptionally organised, able to multi-task, calm under pressure and a figure of authority, with experience of overseeing the work of at least 7 people. This studio is in its infancy, and is involved predominantly in design and digital marketing projects. The agency is now in need of an experienced project manager to come in and help them develop processes to filter work through the studio more effectively and efficiently. You will not be involved in any hands-on creative work – you must be someone who is used to organising workloads, managing processes and resources, and helping people stick to deadlines. You will ultimately be the hinge between the more traditional ‘PR agency’ side and the newer design, web and digital marketing side.

To be considered for this role, you will have agency-side experience and a demonstrable understanding of design and digital. You will be an excellent influencer with a strong will, able to ensure that deadlines are met. You will be good at dealing people and clients who want things ‘now’, and always be able to give a true snapshot of where all projects are up to. You will not be client-facing, although you will deal with almost every team within the agency, so strong communication skills are a must. Any formal project management training/qualifications (Prince2, Agile, Waterfall etc) would be distinctly advantageous.

You will be a senior and experienced Art Director / Creative Lead, with a specific focus on digital campaigns (in particular social media) – this will include Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, display networks and some offline/analogue channels. You will lead a cross-functional team and be responsible for ideating campaigns across a variety of delivery genres (display advertising, video/motion, episodic content, to drive viral and shareable content through online channels.
