Account Director (PR and comms) – South Manchester – c£40k
Well-established and highly-regarded South Manchester agency is looking for an Account Director, with strong PR experience, to join their team.
This person will be managing several national accounts from an enviable, consumer-facing client list. These include retail, healthcare, outdoor, professional services and technology. The role will predominantly be focused on managing accounts in the media relations and content division, but the successful candidate should have experience and an excellent understanding of working across a broader range of marketing projects, including social media, branding, websites, e-mail marketing etc. New business will also play a big role and the client wants someone who thrives on developing relationships and winning proposals. The job will involve nurturing a growing team and assisting with the agency’s development.
You will be an experienced SAM or AD, with PR agency experience of 5 years+. You will have proven account management skills, as well as people management skills. You will have great media contacts and the ability to plan strategically. You will have excellent copywriting skills (across offline and digital channels), as well as social media management experience. Finally, an understanding of SEO/PPC and paid social would be beneficial.
