UX Architect – Leeds – c£35k
Highly regarded digital design agency, based in Leeds city centre, is looking for a User Experience Architect to work across a variety of large-scale projects.
You will be an experienced UX strategist, able to plan elegant and engaging user experiences that help craft beautiful and effective websites for the agency’s clients. You will be a strong researcher, able to analyse user and business requirements, solve complex problems and deliver engagement. You will work both independently but also collaboratively with the design and technical teams. You will have experience of undertaking formal evaluations of websites and mobile applications for usability, ethnographic research, focus groups and usability testing, qualitative and quantitative studies (and analysing their results), sector and competitor intelligence, and running multivariate and A/B tests.
You will use web analytics, heat maps and data sources to understand the effectiveness of a solutions. You will be able to identify user groups and their motivations, then producing information architecture, site maps and user flows to test with real users. Part of this process will involve briefing design and development teams on implementation. You will also have dealings with clients, so strong communication skills are important. You will advise them on UX best practises and be the spokesperson for UX within the agency.
