Digital Marketing Account Director – West Cheshire – £35-40k + Bonus
Well-respected digital agency, covering both design and build, and digital marketing services, is looking for an Account Director to join their client services team. Both agency- and client-side candidates will be considered.
Reporting into the Head of Client Services, you will be responsible for a team of 3 Account Managers, working across a variety of both B2C and B2B accounts. You will be tasked with expanding and retaining clients, growing their value to the agency and delivering sound strategic advice across a number of digital touchpoints. You will truly understand the digital communications landscape – in particular, how inbound marketing and development can achieve your clients’ goals. You will work closely across the agency and know where a client is in their journey at any given time, being the go-to person for all client-related decisions.
Ideally you will have some agency-side experience previously, although client-side candidates have done particularly well in this role, as you understand what the client wants and are often really hot on strategic thinking. You will have an excellent understanding of inbound marketing methodologies and a good understanding of SEO, PPC, social media and email marketing. Any experience with Hubspot would be distinctly advantageous. Equally, you will have experience of overseeing web design and build projects (although bear in mind that this is, in no way, a project management role – this is handled by another department). You will be able to work in a fast-paced and targeted environment, as you will be responsible for an agreed growth target for your client portfolio (this is rewarded and is what the bonus is based on – £10-15k/year on average).
